About Us

BADHOGS (Bracknell Area Deaf & Hard-of-Hearing Support Group) normally meets every first and third Monday afternoon of each month.

We have started to meet at the Birch Hill Community Centre, Leppington, Bracknell RG12 7WW from 2pm to 4pm while we assess its suitability during the period leading up to this coming Christmas.

Who’s invited?

Anyone who is either Deaf or Hard-of-Hearing or has a compassion for working with our members.  Alternatively you may have an interest in issues that impact the Deaf/Hard-of-hearing or want to work on  your BSL (British Sign Language) skills.

Typical programme:

•    Regular guest speakers
•    Wide variety of subjects
•    Tea, coffee, biscuits
•    Current activities update
•    Social contact and events
•    Trips and visits afield.

BADHOGS is both a member of the Bracknell Forest Voluntary Association and Action-on-Hearing-Loss (formerly RNID).  Not only does BADHOGS raise funds itself but has also benefitted from grants provided by the Berkshire Community Foundation and Bracknell Forest Council.
